Collecting your personal information
At MJOCGear, it is our concern to protect member information and to provide a safe and secure on-line ordering system. Our on-line ordering system is used to gather information about our members, enabling us to provide the complete on-line ordering service.
No information will be collected from browsing our web site. Once you have registered on mjocgear.org.au, your personal details will be stored in our database so we can make your on-line purchasing in the future easier, or to provide you with prompt assistance if you should need support.
Use and security of your personal Information
We collect your contact information (name, address, e-mail address, and phone numbers) to process your order. We use a PCI DSS compliant payment gateway at mjocgear.org.au, so your financial information (credit card details etc) are never kept on the site, as this is against the law.
Your contact information will be kept confidential and at no time will this information be traded, swapped, exchanged or sold to any other party or company. mjocgear.org.au will not use this information for any other purpose than to complete a member order, or to communicate with you to discuss associated problems or delays concerning your order(s). This information may also be required where absolutely necessary, to be provided to those third parties that are involved in the processing of your order. For example, the financial institution that issued your credit card and the shipping carrier that delivers your order.
All member information is kept on a secure server and protected by firewall security systems.
Members can access and update their details by logging into mjocgear.org.au using a email address and a password specified by you the member. Passwords are stored on our server using one-way encryption technology. A forgotten password can not be retrieved in its original form. A new password must be created each time the member requests a password. The new password reset link is provided via an email address link.
We may use an email address provided to us, to offer new products or sales events via means of a regular email newsletter. If you don't wish to receive these in future, you just simply click the unsubscribe link at the footer of any newsletter, and you will no longer receive any correspondence from mjocgear.org.au.
